Happy as a... Clam!



AAahhhh, the sweet taste of success. In partnership with Cat Cora behind the Iron Chef America stoves, our Elizabeth Falkner helped simmer, sauce and saute their way to sweet victory in 'Battle Clam' on Sunday, August 14th. Some of the notorious creative courses were: 'clammy mary'-- bloody mary sorbet and avocado mousse served with clam kabobs; 'shakin' like an Elvis clambake'-- Southern favorite with corn, potatoes and szechwan-peppercorn-butter; and a trio of clam, just in case you haven't sampled it enough ways--clam ceviche, pineapple-curry clam and clam pakora. Jjust a bit more complicated and creative than one would whip up at home. Congratulations ladies!
